Refund policy

Thank you for choosing Route Welding Structures LLC. Due to the custom nature of our metal structures and fabrication work, all sales are subject to the following Return & Refund Policy.


1. General Policy

Most orders are custom fabricated and therefore not eligible for automatic returns or refunds.
However, returns may be approved on a case-by-case basis by our administrative team.

No return or refund is guaranteed unless it is formally approved in writing by Route Welding Structures LLC.


2. Eligibility for Returns

A return may be considered only when:

  • The customer contacts our administrative team within the required timeframe.

  • The request is reviewed and approved.

  • The item is in acceptable condition for return (as determined by our team).

Approval is not guaranteed, and conditions may vary depending on:

  • Type of project

  • Customization level

  • Materials used

  • Fabrication complexity


3. Administrative Review

If a return request is approved, Route Welding Structures LLC will determine:

  • Whether the product qualifies for a full or partial refund

  • Whether a restocking fee applies (amount varies)

  • Whether the customer is responsible for return shipping

  • Whether additional conditions apply based on the project

All decisions are made individually and communicated in writing.


4. Shipping Damage (Covered)

If your item arrives damaged during transportation, we do cover this, but under the following conditions:

  • Damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery

  • Clear photos and videos must be provided

  • All original packaging must be kept for inspection

  • We will determine whether the item will be:

    • Repaired

    • Replaced

    • Refunded

    • Partially refunded

Shipping damage is eligible for review even if the item is custom.

However, damage caused by improper unloading, installation, handling, or storage is not covered.


5. Non-Eligible Situations

Returns or refunds will not be approved for:

  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind

  • Wrong size, color, or design chosen by the customer

  • Issues caused by improper installation

  • Damage after delivery due to misuse, modifications, or weather

  • Dissatisfaction with custom work that matches the approved design

  • Requests made outside of the required timeframes


6. Refunds

If a refund is approved (not guaranteed):

  • Refunds may be full or partial, depending on the case

  • Refunds may take 7–14 business days to process

  • Restocking fees may apply

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Custom materials and labor already used may be deducted

All refund amounts are determined solely by Route Welding Structures LLC.


7. Exchanges

Exchanges are only possible if administration approves them.
Custom orders are rarely eligible for exchanges.


8. Warranty (Separate From Returns)

We offer a 15-day limited warranty that covers:

  • Paint defects

  • Manufacturing defects

This warranty does not replace the Return Policy.

It does not cover:

  • Installation issues

  • Customer damage

  • Environmental or weather effects

  • Rust, corrosion, or natural wear

  • Damage reported after 15 calendar days


9. How to Start a Return or Damage Claim

To request a return or report shipping damage, email us at:

Include:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Photos/videos of the issue

  • Description of the problem

  • Date received

No claim will be reviewed without complete documentation.


10. Final Authority

Route Welding Structures LLC reserves the right to approve, deny, or modify any return, refund, or warranty claim based on the specifics of each project.
